FREE Investing Basics Checklist

This Checklist is designed with YOU in mind. 

Investing is not something we are formally taught.  Unless you have a family member who teaches you, or you choose this line of study, how else do you find out how to invest?

Couple this with SO much jargon!

When I started to take courses and learn about investing, I thought I'd be at an advantage, having studied and worked as an accountant.  While accounting has its own language, investing has a different one!

 Learning about candlestick charts and technical analysis (some of the jargon associated with share trading) really didn't interest me.

It was only when I had a not-so-great experience with a financial planner (because I decided to outsource investing), that I realised I had to learn how to do this myself!

So, I studied financial planning and began doing my own investing and realised that it could actually be simple, once you knew the basics.  And, once you understood enough of the jargon, it began to make sense and actually became enjoyable.  Seeing your money grow is exciting!

A question I often get asked is "how do I actually invest?".  Looking back, I had the same hurdle to overcome, and knowing what I know now, this is actually the simplest of the steps!

So you don't have to take as long to figure this out as I did, I've put together this short checklist to help you get started with investing.  This is a big topic, so I've tried to simplify this as much as possible, to get you going.
