#45 Make 2023 Your Best Year
This year is almost at an end, and before 2023 starts, it's a great time to go through a quick planning exercise. In this episode I share the process that I use every year and how I use it. There are 5 steps:
- Categorise your Life Areas (I have either - Family, Friends, Physical Health, Mental Health, Spirituality, Fun/Hobbies, Finances, Business/Work)
- Retrospectively look at the Top 3 things that were great about 2022
- Prioritise the 3 key Life Areas you want to work on in 2023
- Set 3 goals per Life Area (that's 24 goals in total) - they don't have to be big, and some can be linked
- List out the Daily, Weekly and Monthly behaviours that you need to do in order to support achieving your goals.

This process can take between 30 minutes to over an hour, depending on whether you've done anything like this before, and how new it is to you.
It's well worth the effort, and you can then build on it every year!
