I don't know about you, but Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year. Why? Because it can bring people together, it brings mostly happy experiences, and where someone is struggling, it makes us all more aware and supportive.
For my family, our tradition is to celebrate on Christmas Eve. Over the years more and more close friends have joined us, and now we have our "regulars" and then others who come along - particularly if there are in need of support or fun (or both), and if they can't be around their family (or they just don't have much or any family).
So, the give of giving and receiving takes centre stage.
I say giving AND receiving, because it's important to keep the universal energy balance. It's also nice to receive, rather than just give.
Giving is something that I really enjoy, so I've also had to learn to receive (I'm sure some of you reading this can relate!).
